We've all been there. Whether we are the dumpee or the dumper, we have all experienced the end of a relationship. The uncomfortable "It's not you it's me" conversation. The tears and pleas to stay together. It often times is quite messy. How do you handle the aftermath of a break up? Does it depend on how messy the break up is?

For some, it doesn't matter how amicable the break up is, after they are done, they are done.

I asked one of my girls this question and she had this to say.... ' I don't want any phone calls or emails or any of that. Forget you even know my name when we break up. Especially if you broke up with me. I don't want to hear about your new woman and how great she is and how you are planning on marrying her. Yeah, that doesn't hurt much.'

If I was the dumpee I still don't want to be friends with the guy because inevitably he will always think he can inch his way back in. Always. Uuuhhh, no. I don't want to be your friend.

Singer Lily Allen has recently expressed her disgust at a recent tweet by US rapper Kanye West.

The star, who last year suffered her second late miscarriage, last week said Kanye's ponderings on the social networking website are wrong on 'so many levels'.

Kanye, 33, wrote: 'an abortion can cost a ballin' n**** up to 50gs maybe a 100.

'Gold diggin' b****** be getting pregnant on purpose. #STRAPUP my n*****!'

But 25-year-old Lily was horrified by his comments.

She tweeted to West in reply: 'Never has a tweet put me in such a bad mood.

'This is wrong on so many levels.'

Abortion is a very controversial subject. On the one hand, some use it as birth control who could care less about their lifestyle or the cries of a foetus upon a forced birth who is then killed using instruments by an abortionist. Then there are early abortions when someone is assaulted and finds they're pregnant. These are things which society has differing opinions, yet, "back-street" doctors, national clinics, perform abortions on an almost daily basis somewhere in society

Kanye has got a point about "strapping up." Men should use condoms if they don't want a woman to get pregnant. If they don't care about using condoms they can't complain if a woman chooses to keep the baby. It is indeed sad that lily lost 2 babies, but I think that in her sensitive state she fails to see that Mr West’s controversial remark is actually a good message: Wear a condom, then one won’t need an abortion in the first place! If she really wants to attack someone she should be attacking the women who have these excessive and expensive abortions (it really is a problem) as Mr West is doing! (Perhaps not so crassly though.

I don’t see any relation between what had happened to Lily Allen and what Kanye said... Kanye is encouraging other "ballin' N- " to wear a condom so that girls don’t get pregnant purposefully to take them for all their money. He’s encouraging safe sex etc. etc. I think she’s misunderstood

Just to give this some perspective... Lilly has actively chosen to follow Kanye on twitter and therefore presumably is interested in want he has to say. Kanye is CLEARLY NOT saying he is pro-miscarriage within a loving relationship is he, he's just keeping it real with a good helping of tongue in cheek.

I aint no gold digger but I sure know plenty of the type. I can see where he is coming from. Lily is still hurting which is also understandable.

A recent story about a university student, 20, who flew to Philadelphia, US, for silicone jabs to increase the curve of her buttocks.

Instead of a successful op Claudia, of Hackney, East London, suffered chest pains after the injections and died in hospital. Judging by her photo she was already a very beautiful young lady. What a really sad world where young girls are literally putting they're life at risk by opting for cheap unregulated plastic surgery and all in the name of vanity!

Cosmetic surgery is clearly potentially dangerous. But people don't seem to treat it with the same caution and fear that they would another surgical procedure. People seem to be less willing to see the danger of having a tummy tuck compared to that of a stomach operation they need medically.

When things go wrong someone can end up disfigured or even dead, a facelift can lead to your eyes or mouth not opening and closing properly. Breast implants can result in oddly shaped breasts. And post-surgical infection is a risk, as is severe psychiatric injury.

What a horrible thing. Girls and women, you are beautiful as you are! Don't cave to pressures by others to look a certain way. It'll ruin your life! What a terrible price to pay for wanting to look good. This real tragedy and a needless death that should never have happened and I truly hope others will learn a stark warning from this so that no more lives are needlessly lost!

For the religious and spiritual among us, body image may instantly improve with the simple reminder that God gave you the body you have for a reason. He didn't make you to look like Beyonce because you aren't Beyonce. He wants you to be healthy enough to do your life's work. To live and work at an optimum level. So, accept His creation, and nurture it.

Take the log out of your eye before removing the speck from your neighbours eye kinda thing, for how long are celebrities going to be blamed for living their life.

What do celebrities mean to kids?

Ok, I understand teenagers may look to them for fashion etc. But, I've come across parents who seem to blame celebrities for being 'bad role models', if their children start smoking/drinking or even being rude. But, since when were celebrities meant to set standards for the way children act? Surely the biggest role models in a child's life, up to a certain age, is it's parents? That's just my opinion, though. I would like to hear what others think, if anything?

Fair enough celebrities are in the spotlight, but they are humans just like me and you and shouldnt be pressured into being what they are not.

One of the most controversial X Factor shows ever was on Saturday night exposed as nothing more than a charade. Millions watched as Miss Cole dithered over whether to plump for Treyc Cohen or Katie Waissel. I feel sorry for Cheryl – she hasn’t done anything wrong in this at all. I have never on the show seen a mentor vote against one of their own acts UNLESS it means taking it to deadlock, so why do so many people blame Cheryl? If she’d have chosen Katie to stay because she likes her more, people would be even angrier claiming favouritism and racism!

Last year everyone was complaining that every week it went to deadlock so it was unfair; now everyone is complaining because it ISN’T going to deadlock?! The claim The X Factor is rigged is ridiculous – do you think Wagner would still be there if it was rigged? Simon would much rather see even someone as hated as Katie keep on in the competition rather than Wagner! The producers most likely asked Cheryl second for entertainment value. I doubt they’re particularly that bothered about Katie anyway as it’s unlikely she’s going to win, so why go to all this effort of “rigging” it? Also Katie really isn’t that terrible, she’s just facing the flak from people still hung up about that Gamu. She has a good voice and image.

I think it’s perfectly reasonable for Cheryl to refuse to choose between her acts – imagine the backlash if she had cast a vote! Especially because she obviously does favour Katie to have picked her in her top 3 anyway (with Treyc being the wildcard) – I can’t believe she is being ridiculed like this just for showing some loyalty.

The producers should never have asked Cheryl to vote before Dannii and Louis. If they hadn’t, these debates would not be even taking place because Cheryl would have sent it to deadlock. They are who the blame should be pointed at. What are your thoughts on the show?

Changing your name after Marraige

So as Cheryl and Ashley's divorce is finalised many of you may have already known Cheryl will be keeping Ashley's surname because of her solo career. The star has worked tirelessly i guess to promote herself as 'Cheryl Cole'.... her maiden name 'Tweedy' would just confuse things. But it wasn't until after her marriage to Ashley in 2006 that she became a real household name, known to millions as Cheryl Cole.

she is more famous now and her name is recognised. Tina Turner kept her name, I think she's earned it and has a right to keep it. but will almost certainly eventually become just known as 'Cheryl' a bit like Madonna.

Celebrities are making a career choice when they decide on whether or not to 'take the name'. Would the Beckham 'brand' be as powerful if they were Victoria Adams and David Beckham? And when Ashley Cole was getting into trouble for alleged infidelities, did Cheryl's 'Mrs Cole' tattoo on the back of her neck make the perceived betrayal all the worse? The Mrs Beckhams and Coles of this world are independently rich and powerful within their own celebrity - but probably richer and more powerful as part of a celebrity unit. Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, meanwhile, has it both ways, while Jennifer Aniston kept hold of her maiden name during her ill-fated marriage.

The Question is would you change your surname when you get married?

If i was a man, there's no way I'd let my wife have a different last name than me. It shows a disunity in the family. When a man and a woman join, they become one. Period. That is your family. Biblically. Historically. Factually. If you aren't committed enough--so self-centered--as to keep separate last names, I see a marriage, if not heading for failure, built on a very poor foundation.
I guess I am pretty traditional in that regard since I definitely plan on taking his last name. Even when I was a little girl, I would doodle my name according to the last name of the boy I was in love with at the moment. I am looking forward to being Mrs. hubby. And I know (even though men will never admit it) taking man's last name is a HUGE deal for them, it's a proof of the commitment, same as engagement ring is for a woman. Women are insisting on proper engagement proposals, proper engagement rings, big weddings with families etc. as a proof of their love for us. We want them to relinquish their freedom, but we are unable to relinquish even our maiden name... If I wanted to keep my maiden name forever, I could as well keep on being single forever.

There circumstance for example if you where a artist you can have your stage name professionally, but i would encourage woman to take their husbands last name legally.......Obviously in the Celebrity World..things are always different......

Okay so i have been motivated to write a post tonight due to some facebook pictures ive seen , and its about my fellow ladies who feel the need to constantly show their assets in order to receive male attention.

Ill make it short and snappy.......

Ladies, you may dress seductively/sexy/raunchy and you will get ALL the attention from males.

But you will never earn and possess true love of their hearts and their respect.
A real man wants a woman with whom he can have the greatest of affection of heart and with whom he can really give his heart and respect.
If you do not respect yourself, then how can a man respect you.

women need to realize that the standards they have for men can be turned back and used on them also. My point being that you must be what you want. If you want a strong confident man, a woman must be a strong confident woman. There is a book out by a woman stating that women's standards are getting out of hand and they are not getting married. The thing is that they have all the standards for men, but don't even think how they present themsleves. A woman can't win the heart of a man that meet all the standards if she isn't close to those standards herself and that usually includes respecting one's self in your dressing.

Not saying you should start dressing like Virgin Mary, buts lets be decent in our appearance and b respected for the beautfull woman that we are

Ladies you are your partners helper!!! wow – that’s a hard statement to swallow for a woman of our generation!

On Sunday after church i was talking to one of the ministers, she was rushing home to make dinner for her husband and i was like' if he is that hungry he will cook for himself since he is at home and he knows where u are'. I then got a lecture lol which i will break down to you.

when God created Eve, she was created to be a “helper suitable for him (Adam).” That is the wife’s purpose. It is quite plain in black and white. When you act as a “helper suitable for him , you are glorifying God.

In this generation it is hard for women to sit back and simply help their partners – we are tempted to lead them, boss them, criticize them, expect them to take care of themselves and us, be tidy, and a helper to us. But in actuality – they are not our helpers – we are their helpers! God desires that they be servant leaders and the head of the house but whether they are actually doing that should make no difference as to our attitude of being their helper- hmmm deep!!!

So we have three things to consider:

1: Know your partner.

Know his likes and dislikes and help him in the areas that he has asked for help. Pay attention to areas where you see he needs help.

2: Do not compare your relationship to your friends, sisters or even your pastors!

Your partner is unique and you are unique; therefore, you have a unique relationship You must seek to please your partner and no one else.

3: Do not wait for your partner to “deserve” to be helped.

We should do what is right no matter what others are doing around us . This is very hard lol especially when they have wronged us.

Our strength to be his helper must come from our walk with God. When we stop fighting what God has created us to be – we will find peace and blessing even in the midst of a difficult relationship.

It is a hard pill to swallow at first because of pride but when you realize how natural it is, it’s a beautiful thing! When you realize this then everything starts falling into place, after all that was said and done i said to her this is all beautiful and makes sense but i cannot be a slave neither a dunce, best believe i got a spanking lol xx

Lindsay Lohan Rant!!

hope all is well and good, so on my train journey to work this morning i was reading in the newspaper how Lindsay Lohan had been released from prision early.

The star served 13 days of a 90-day sentence and taken straight to a local rehab center — where she is expected to spend the next 90 days. It had been expected that the Mean Girls actress would be released from jail early due to overcrowding in the California prison system and the State’s credit system for good behaviour.

She DIDN'T behave well in jail! From all accounts, it sounds like she was as obnoxious as she could possibly be. It's not like she could actually do anything BAD, since she was locked up in a cell for most of the day, but still that is such a pathetic excuse

Ok stuff like this piss me ryt off, you never hear of non celebrities serving only 13 days out of their sentence, this is pathetic celebrities are humans just like me and you, that's the more reason why they should be disciplined the more because they are potential role models/icons/idols to younger kids.

She should have spent all 90 days in jail. If she wasn't (arguably) a celebrity she would have. If I was one of those other inmates that has to serve my full term while people like Lindsay, Khloe Kardasian, and Michelle Rodriguez walk after a short period of time I would sue the LA County jail and the sherrif for discrimination.

It then went on to say '"Lindsay is very upset that the judge ordered her to go straight to rehab…[Lindsay] feels that she deserved to spend a day with her family after she behaved well in jail.'

She got special treatment, and spent 2 -ish weeks of her 90 day sentence. When a person breaks the law, is found guilty of the crimes, and goes to jail that person isn't owed anything, by anyone - other than their basic human rights ( i.e. access to food, water, a place to sleep). It's not a "right" to see your family, it's a privilege.
Because of …."how well she behaved in jail" ?
Didn't she aggravate the others (inmates and staff) by screaming and crying the whole time?

If this was to happen to one of us normal joes we would still be in jail. Money talks once again. This is not news worthy. I dont like to see a certain kind of person get special treatment we are all the same. Send her back to jail.......

Blogville ive missed you, hows it going??? I know i said i would never leave you for a long amount of time but i have been ever so busy in the real world... if only there was a bloggers app on BB... forgive me????

Anyway so i was on the train this morning to work and i was reading the newspaper as per usual. Today's paper was just full and death, but what really struck me was the story about the man who killed himself his wife and his two girls aged 2 and 1, this really disturbed me and is still disturbing me till now, to know that we live in the same world as these sick people. Headlines in the paper read 'Delivery driver who murdered wife and daughters before hanging himself 'had money worries' and was £7,000 in debt'

Apparently they were £7,000 in debt and he couldn't handle it so he killed off his family.
There needs to be more support for people in debt. More helplines where people can call if they are having a real low. I can't help thinking there must have been something else going on too because why would this make you want to murder your loved ones?
It isn't nice going through such a time but to harm your own family and in such a brutal way. I don't know how someone could do such a thing... to such innocents. It's just awful.

Andrew Case yesterday inexplicably 'snapped' and stabbed his family to death in their home in a quiet market town.

His daughters, two-year-old Phoebe and one-year-old Nereya, were fatally knifed just a few minutes after the once devoted father had also killed his nursery teacher wife, Vicky, 31.

The 32-year-old then hanged himself at the couple's rented family home.

When i see the Media going hay wire because Cheryl Cole has Malaria it really disheartens me. Alot of people die everyday in Africa because of Malaria and no body gives a damn about it, but when almighty Cheryl Cole catches Malaria the whole Media and world is going crazy. Good riddance to Bad Rubbish!!!!

The chief executive of Comic Relief has said that it is “deeply unfair” that singer and X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has caught the potentially killer disease malaria. Err excuse me its unfair that millions of people die of Malaria every second and nobody is aware of it.

I saw it on the News yesterday and they are still going on about it till today, they need to recognise important and urgent things.... right about now that is not as important as the Gun Man that is on the lose.

They need to fix up!!!!!

I had an eventful weekend, we had Church Sports Day which nobody turned up for, it was a hot beautiful day but nobody turned up.... but if it was party now or some sort of 'Faaji' hmmmm i shall say no more.

After the sports day i went for a friends Birthday Party, i had fun catching up with friends i hadn't seen in a while it was a very interesting day.

Sunday was Thanksgiving, danced away all our problems and sorrows from June....Its a new month new problems new blessings.

The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank, blah..blah.. blah. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves. So find time to be your spouse's friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy.

Dont give me material things just give me your love, let me feel secure and confident that you love me.

Now a days people confuse material things for love, that's not love.... little things from the heart that nobody has to know about is a big turn on.

A phone call to see how im doing, check up on me, compliment me would go a long way as to a 'Gucci bag'. Lets learn to appreciate our partners make them feel secure

I like Cheryl Cole, I think she has talent albeit not great. I think she's a good judge who tries to help with her critiques. She is pretty and yes there are other maybe more pretty girls out there. She was lucky she got picked put in a group and went from strength to strength. As women we all spend money on shampoo and make up, when we have no money it's Tescos own and that's not bad! As you hopefully get more money you upgrade!

I just couldn't believe some of the nastiness of some of the comments i read on a site towards her success. I think she comes across as a really sweet person who just like us does her best! I do think she has talent and much to my own surprise bought her cd which is ok and the reason I said her talent was limited was simply because her background music totally drowns out her voice, which is not apparent on the " Girls Aloud" cds. Besides she's a local lady you got to admire the geordie who did good! I do hate all the picking over we do of people in the public eye. All these people that say "oh i'd give her one!" wonder if they'd react the same way if someone said that of their partners.

She just a human being at the end of the day nothing so special about her. I agree with what has already been said she ain't the only pretty woman in this world and won't be the prettiest either, and beauty is more about what is inside not what is on the outside.

So ive just had a really bad experience of Family v Partner and im like woah i thought it only happend in Nollywood movies, but i guess anything can happen in this life...so who is more important Partner or Family??

No matter what happens, family will be there for you. Although putting your family ahead doesn't literally mean that you cancel time with your guy/girl. Family comes first because those relationships, face it, not many are meant to last. And who will you run back to when he/she ditches you? Your family, right

Women/ Men may come and go, in and out of your life, but your family will be there long after they are gone.This is a tough situation. I think it also depends on how long you've been together. Technically, your spouse is supposed to come first ( take note i sed spouse, so this should apply for people who are married)
. You are each other's number one person in life and do almost everything together with them. But if you just started dating (i.e. not even engaged, or less than 2 years together if you don't believe in marriage), then it's just like any other friend and your family comes first.

The best solution is to find balance. You are going to be spending a lot of time with your partner, but your family is always there for you (even if you break up with your significant other) so you should get together and help each other when you need help.

Today is my day, i keep finding interesting stuff to talk about lol so i stumbled upon something new a minute ago, a photo slideshow of famous tall woman/short man hollywood couples. Included in the feature is Mick Jagger and designer L’Wren Scott, Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupree, and Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. The feature ignites the age-old question:Would you ever date a guy shorter than you?

I always find it interesting that a lot of the men that are the Hollywood heartthrobs are on the short side. It is an old fashioned notion that the man should be taller, but this notion still seems to be going strong, Women do not date shorter men because they just naturally prefer taller men.

Now this is a very cute picture, despite them looking like siblings lol its not that bad

creative and intellectual fulfilments are SO much more important than any of the superficial things.
This is what i feel, a woman is going to make a choice off of her natural preference, her self confidence, (because if she picks a short guy and her friends harass her about it and she does not have enough guts to go with what she likes, not what her friends say) and the pool of men she gets to select from.

If you are a short guy that has issues with being short, odds are the women you meet will have issues with it, too.

Women want to see confidence in a man and if you are not confident or at least able to fake it, she is not going to be interested in you, for the most part, at any height.

Women want to feel secure. Security can be provided with a physical presence, but it can also be provided with attitude and, dare I say it, confidence. I know 6’5” 300lb men that are teddy bears, I know some 5’4” guys that no one would think to mess with.

Women are not marrying height. They are marrying a man they are compatible with, previous requirements being met of course.

Ok so this morning i stumbled across this quote 'All relationships are controlled by the person who cares less'
and it struck me that its really true, this really happens that is true, however, the person who loves deepest has the better love experience. The old saying, "It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all." had it right.

No one wants to have their heart broken, and it's prudent to go slow, so you can judge the level of your loved ones commitment, however, loving is part of life. If a person holds back and doesn't truly allow themselves to "put their heart into it" they will never fully experience the sheer JOY of loving another person. I have been loved and I have loved. Being loved is a sweet and precious thing, but loving brings me true JOY! I pity those who have never allowed themselves that experience.

That being said, I would caution the "one who cares the most" to keep their self esteem intact, making sure that their loved one is not using them instead of loving them. After all, a person can stand not being the "star" of the show as long as they are awarded a "Best Supporting" Oscar.

So im back from Malta guys and i was welcomed this early morning with wind and great..(talk about a major contrast lol) but the sun is beautiful, im, in my back garden surfing the web i love weather like this, not to hot not to cold.... so i had a well deserved break, Malta is beautiful but it wouldn't be in my top ten holiday destinations i think its more of a chilaxing spot as to shopping or fun, but hey im not complaining. Im totally jet lagged haven't slept only had 3 hours of sleep as i woke up early this morning to make my way to London after landing in Luton.

I am so team Whit right about now…I love Whitney, Great interview! I enjoyed hearing her viewpoint of the music industry today as seen through her eyes. She is a legend and has earned the right to give her opinion after 30yrs in the business

What I really enjoyed is seeing how humbled she seemed. She really seems touched that her fans stayed with her. Every clip that I have seen her performing she says thanks you for your support, love and prayers.

So last night i finally watched Precious the movie (fully), all my excitemnt and anticipation since November has finally come to an end.... umm i think i expected more from the movie, it wasnt all that, i think i raised the bar for it too high and I was a bit dissapointed, it did baffle me at times but I think dat was the aim of the producer/director because it was stylishly confusing, but damn Gabby really really tried, she defnetly deserves an Oscar for best newcomer or somehing, I know something silly myt happen like the award going to Monique especially since shes won the BAFTA awards already, the REAL Actress is Gabby and she should be given these accolades instead ……..

Stuff like this, and Sweet Sixteen on MTV can psychologically damage a younger audience than myself. Even I cant help but feel depressed after watching the show and seeing pictures like these. I dont mind that my sweet 16 wasnt 400,000 pounds. Sure its sucks not being able to get everything I want. But more sadly, I'm left thinking, god these kids are brats and it just sends out a really awful message.

I can see it being a problem for younger teens to see the show because they might think that treating people in that manner is ok, or think that their lives aren't good enough if they don't get those material things.

Girls are complicated... well because... come on its like asking why is the sky blue. it just is. In fact women are pretty simple to understand. Once u know their likes, dislikes, tricks they like to play and habits they become like a book, easy to read.

Maybe complicated isnt the right word. Some girls are just playing games, some are trying to keep boys on their toes, some are trying to be mysterious (or whatever bullcrap they read to do in a magazine to be flirtatious and captivating) and there is still the category of those who like to intentionally give mixed signals Others still are simply erratic or dont know that they are giving off mixed signals. Or just plain crazy or difficult.This all adds, correctly and incorrectly, to the idea that women are complicated or have issues ( as some would like to put it).

If it makes you feel better women also always ask why men are so complicated. So its a two way street. I guess it just hard for different sexes to understand the other. We see things differently.

I dont think this is a good enough answer for this but seriously most people in life are complicated, male or female. Everyone is walking around, carrying their baggage with a personal sob story. If u think about it like that then things arent so complicated, maybe. But girls do have mood swings so it can be complicated

Basically, we're just wired differently. I know it's frustrating for men to try and understand women, but I have learned that it is just as frustrating for women to try and understand men. Experience is the key, in my opinion.

I always thought it was possible, I had quite a few male friends at high school,at the time it seemed like a normal friendship, but after a few years I had a luck to find out some of them had a secret crush on me and that totally spoiled our relationship..

but suprisingly I've also had some male friends after high school, but sooner or later it proved that there can be such thing as a pure friendship between a girl and a boy..

its a Yes and no kinda situation, If there is no attraction to each other then yes, but if one or the other has some attraction then it may cause some problems in the friendship.

And no because one individual will always have stronger feelings about the 'friendship' than the other person. It's that extra feeling that will always get in the way.

I also think its about knowing your boundries, if your a hi bye person then yh it can work, but when the freindship begins to develop into late night calls, speaking every single minute, letting the person in to alot of things then something is bound to happen.

What is suprising that while we (girls) tend to think girls and boys can be just friends, boys usually think the oposite! Try to ask around.. I think it tells a lot

One of my best friends is a guy & nothing has ever happened or will because we dont fancy each other simple as. Of course it does occasionally happen that one person likes the other but you can still be friends as long as boundaries are known.

Long distance relationships

Long distances relationships can come around in a number of ways. Maybe you met your partner and started dating them when they moved away to university or a new job, maybe you met them at university and in the holidays they go home or maybe you have always been apart. Whatever the case may be having a partner who isn’t near you most of the time is hard.
I'm a firm believer that if both of you really want this to happen, you'll find a way.

it also depends on how you love and trust each other. if both of you have this i think it will work.
I think LDR can last long time if you love and trust each other. But then when the communication skills and trust start to waver, you will suffer for the distance, and it will be difficult to build a future together. Try to meet sometimes,if its a very long distance between you try every few months, or more often if you have money. And stay in contact, thank to technology : skype, msn, emails, facebook...

There are ways in which you can make LDR's work....

When you are seperated by distance , sometimes people change...ever so slightly And if too long of a time goes by , too much changing can occur . To the point where you both have changed so much over a period of time that one of you might have different needs.

That is usually one of the pitfalls of an LDR.

The best therapy is to SEE eachother as often as its possible to do. So one of the persons does not change to the point that they don't need you in their life the way they used to.

I think LDR's are hard on everyone. Anyone that says its easy is not being truthful.

long distance relationships may not work, especially if the couple stays apart for long periods of time. Feelings are like anything, they are born then they die at one point sometimes sudden death. Suddenly, you find yourself out of love with your partner or vice versa

If its not another woman / man that will attract you were ever you are ( there are lots of those), then its the commitment you put in and the anxiety that you will cause yourself when you think about your partner. Things like are they being faithful? Can I commit? can I do better? What's the point? Be a realist, if you like them but don't want the pressure then break up and attempt to keep the friendship.

Ive even hear people say that LDRs only satisfy commitment phobic individuals that deep down do not desire a real relationship lol.

RIP Teddy P you will be missed. he made a lot of babies to his music lol, .Many kids are here today because of his sexy, soulful voice. He brought couples together and put them in a serious mood to get closer than close. LOL!

Alot of hate and controversy is flying about concerning what Pat Robertson said is the cause of the Haiti disaster, he said that the earthquake happened because the Haitians made a pact with the Devil in order to gain freedom from the French:

Either way…..We need to extend help. Those people weren’t alive when the ‘pact’ happend, i rember a couple years back we learnt bout the Haiti people in Geography and my teacher said that Haiti really wanted to win the war against the French and end captivity for good. Voodoo was done which included an animal sacrifce, and according to her, Haiti has been paying for this ever since. This is why they can never get ahead. There are people there who still practice Voodoo, and the people who have converted to Christianity are still afraid and superstitious of it.

I would certainly hope that Robertson's comments would not be misconstrued as the feelings of all christians. We feel that what happened in Haiti is tragic along with being aware that many haitians do practice voodoo and other acts of the devil, but not all are that way. There are many christian haitians in that country. We pray for the people of Haiti to recover and find some solace in the devestating events that their country has suffered.

Do some research and you’ll find out. BUT just becuase of that doesnt mean we shouldnt help. So people whatever you can do make an effort to help!!!!!!! And pray!!!

Please keep the people of Haiti in your prayers, the little they have has been taken away from them, over 100,000 have been feared dead, please support them in any way you can....prayers, donations etc.

Puts things in perspective when we are complaining about a lack of grit and our cars being stuck doesn't it, or if someone offended us. My Prayers are with people of Haiti, God give them strength to endure this tragedy

i feel sorry for jonas, he was serious with her. she was playing with him all the time katia is so immature,she already has a bf, but she still started this silly game,and now dumped him.

I was open to liking Katia the first few days but she has shown what a totally selfish immature insecure irritating and cold person she truly is...she has played about with Jonas bitching behind his back to others about him and she has made no effort to get to know the older people in the house, she sits around doing nothing at all and frankly she has wasted any opportunity in there to show the public that she has anything at all to give and make her worthy of being in the public eye...she truly is an orchid as Stephanie says and I hope so much that the magazines will not fill any of thier pages with this waste of time person...I hope she is voted out and that it is the last we hear of her..

I know this issue has been going on for a couple of months now, but the latest scandal involving him and a white woman.... i dont blame her shes clever his dumb, this is just Another white girl who will “come up” at the hands of a wealthy black man who can’t keep his vows straight nor his piece in his pants. The black man loves being exploited by white women but I bet he htinks he’s the one with the upper hand! he is looking so dumb right about now, from law suits to his mistress dealing with another NBA idiot

Hello beautifull Ladies and Georgeous Gents,
hows the new week going so far..... the snow here in London is getting out of hand, before it was so pretty and pure and cute...but now EURGHH its all black and watery and muddy and so uncool.....
anyway so i had my first proper lecture today, and its good to be back...got feedback from all the tests and coursework i did prior to the Christmas break and i did so good, i cant believe it.... clap for me lol
Between now and mid Febuary i have a million and 1 things to hold down, Lord give me strength.....

I just want to share something with my sisters and brothers in the faith...this week i have been beliving God to do something for me, and I kinda put God to the test and i was like 'God if you do this for me on this day at this point in time, trust me ill give you this' i was proper praising and calling his names from A-Z and constantly worshipping ( not to say i dont usually do this, but it was more exagerrated because i wanted this particular thing) .....and to my suprise i didnt recive it.

I was kinda upset about it, but then something came to me whilst i was in deep thought which was, why did i need to exaggerate my praise and worship because i wanted God to give me something, why cant everyday be a day of exaggerated Praise and Worship..after all that is what i was created to do, who knows maybe thats why i havent recived it yet, whose to say i wouldn't go back to my old ways when i receive what i requested, Gods not man he cannot be mocked.

hmmm Food for Thought!!

So ive recived quite a few messages from people suggesting some topics that they would love me to write about, first of all thank you so much for taking time to read my blog i sooo appreciate it, secondly thanks for the suggestions i will defnetly get round to writting about it, and thirdly if you have any suggestions improvments, things you would love to see on here dont hesitiate to let me know...ill be more than happy to do that for you

Looks V Personality

When it comes to the rules of attraction we all appreciate different things. So what's more important to you - looks or personality?

Personality is important and alot further up my list thats for sure heck why would you want to spend time with someone if you cant have a decent conversation its not like you can spend the hours of a date just looking at eachother.

But we are all different and we all have qaulitys that others dont but thats just life if we were all same would'nt it be as dull as hell.

I am not denying that looks help but ive found very few men that are really pleasing to look at with amazing personalities this also relates to females, thats not to say they arent out there.

Regardless of your appearance, the most attractive thing you can offer others is the ability to relax and be yourself. If you're looking for more than just a friendship then think about the kind of signals you're giving out. It's basically about communicating your interests clearly

Looks are what catches the guy or girls eye first and the personality keeps them attracted. I think that personality wins hands down. Looks dont last forever, its the personality that stays with you. Focus more on the personality because its what keeps the girl or guy and it makes for a long relationship.

Thats not to say discard every good looking person that comes your way lol, dont be naive and Don't let the Disney Channel and the Hallmark cards lead you astray. Guy or girl, looks do matter up to an extent. people might not admit it for fear of sounding shallow, but it's true. It's definetly true that personality matters, but for everyone there's a minimum sex appeal required.

you don't want the best looking guy on earth but has a crappy personality.
& you don't want the guy with the best personality on earth but you can't stand to look at him. you kind of want to find a balance between both.

I find it so funny that the majority of guys these days are so stoosh and have strayed so far from the term'gentle man' and when they see a guy who is gentle they think hes chich or feminine well excuse mst girls like a gentle man nt a guy so far up his own.... You get it (facebook status)

I wholeheartedly agree that "Nice guy" does not automatically equal "groveling pushover" however It's entirely possible to treat women nice while having a strong sense of self pride and inner strength. Unfortunately , this is a rarity in both sexes.

The problem I've noticed with "nice" guys is that "nice" is too often a cover word for "insecure" or "indecisive," both of which are qualities that get OLD when you're trying to be in a relationship with them.
moat females don't like nice guys because they are boring and predictable.

Bottom line: be nice, sure, but be strong and not a groveling pussy. That's the way to go.
Being nice and being passive aren't always the same thing.
Women respond to a men who have manners but also has balls to disagree and to give her a hard telling off once in a while when she crosses the line

. You don't have to be a total mugg to get chicks you just have to act like MAN. Anybody can be nice. But I know just like all should know that all men and women are different, so not every woman goes for bad boys. Plus even a nice guy can be bad.

Hey maybe my thinking is rigid, but thats just how i feel towards it, if you act like a slapped up mugg all in the name of being nice your woman will lose upmost respect for you, it may not be face to face, it mayb behind you when having their little girly meetings......

I think that you shouldnt have to be skinny to be an actress. HOWEVER, I hope that her confidence does not send the message that it is ok to be this overweight, because it is not. I hope she is on track to a healthier lifestyle, confidence regardless of your size is fabulous. your heart, liver, and arteries being encased in fat in your 20s, not so much.

All that said She has a very positive attitude and I’m sure she can be a role model to people who feel less of themselves. Love this chick!! Let’s hear it for the big girls who love themselves! Not everybody is going to be rail thin, and that does NOT define beauty. Beauty and love comes in all sizes, shapes and colors. Gabby, I wish you all the best.

Happy New year Blogville......
hope you had a smashing lead into the New Year, i know i did!!

Its the beginning of a New Year and already ive learnt something new about myself, which im proud of, ive also learnt some new things as well. I really dont believe in New Years Resolutions....however i do believe in setting goals and targets.

Love knows no bounds: When i was younger if anybody said that to me i would have laughed in their face, but i thank God because i have matured and wisend up.....

I belive that TRUE and SINCERE love knows no bounds, It means there are no boundaries-race, gender, location, culture, everything. It means no matter the differences, there is still love, that the artificial barriers we put onto love (age, race, gender, financial situation, distance) are meaningless to the deep and spiritual emotions that true love brings,

it means love doesnt discriminate. it pays no attention to society rules. like love of a different race, or you love someone way older or younger than you. or your in love with a cousin and cant help it. it means love can happen regardless of the situation. for example, i have a secret crush on someone 20 years younger than me. society dictates this is wrong, disgusting, and improper (erm yh dat was an example bdw lol).

When people say they love each other there are always conditions on that kind of love.It is not unconditional love because it is known with boundaries atattched to it that threaten it.It is fragile and changeable..so it is bound by conditions that we impose on it. True love is not fragile,bound by the conditions we put on it or changeable and that's what makes love beautiful xxx

Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

This verse is quite explanitatory, Christianity these days seems to be all about music and clothing lines, recycling the same christians and artists at the same concerts and shows, what ever happend to doing what the scriptures said in Jamed 1:27 ...looking after the poor, the orphaned, the widowed..... christinaity is more than this.

I'm afraid, when most people think of religion, they do not think of God the Father. They do not think first of Him and the spiritual blessings He provides in Christ. They think of church stuff (people, groups, organizations, buildings and movements). We are strongly influenced by the religious culture of our time - which is marked by denominations, churches, organizations, human tradition and ritual. It will be to our eternal advantage to identify religion first with God. Right religion is man's response to Him. When man's response is in keeping with His instructions and is expressive of
faith in His Son - then you have "pure and undefiled religion." Anything else is vain.

We as christians need to fix up!!
