religion...Christianity

James 1:26-27  if anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless. Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

This verse is quite explanitatory, Christianity these days seems to be all about music and clothing lines, recycling the same christians and artists at the same concerts and shows, what ever happend to doing what the scriptures said in Jamed 1:27 ...looking after the poor, the orphaned, the widowed..... christinaity is more than  this.

I'm afraid, when most people think of religion, they do not think of God the Father. They do not think first of Him and the spiritual blessings He provides in Christ. They think of church stuff (people, groups, organizations, buildings and movements). We are strongly influenced by the religious culture of our time - which is marked by denominations, churches, organizations, human tradition and ritual. It will be to our eternal advantage to identify religion first with God. Right religion is man's response to Him. When man's response is in keeping with His instructions and is expressive of
faith in His Son - then you have "pure and undefiled religion." Anything else is vain.

We as christians need to fix up!!

wow a couple of hour left till the new year, doesnt it annoy you when people say 'New year, New me' like please get over your self you said that last year and the year before and the year before that....like wotevaa....

is there anythin wrong with guys wearin Ugg boots ....

I went out today and i saw some guy wearing Uggs and coincidentally its someone's status ryt now on fb  and you know what he made it look perfectly normal to wear lol, I think it totally depends on the guy. This isnt my first time seeing guys wearing Ugg boots  I've seen some cool guys wearing them and they look good but also I've seen some less attractive guys who look a bit stupid!


I cant understand the fuss over guys who wear ugg boots? theyre only shoes- and look great on them, as they do girls.BDW Uggs are unisex so its kool :)

I love seeing guys wearing Uggs , its daring and diffrent especially the black or dark brown ones they look so good on them. topman from what ive seen do a good selection ... the best look ive seen is when u see a guy in a pair of dark brown/black uggs, dark blue jeans and a nice collard cardy or something like that.. such a lovely look.






       

mini rant!!!!

Ok so im guessing everybody has heard about the latest failed terrorist attack carried out by the 'Nigerian guy', ok so i have a major issue right now... like everyone is going crazy simply because his Nigerian, at first i was like ahh nahh disgrace bla bla bla..but like have we all forgotton that he is actually a stern hard core muslim who has links with the al-queda crew, so ........ also why are people and the media not mentioning that the man is also a British citizen?. that this guy was traveling with a British pasport?. Or does it just sound better for the media to label him a Nigerian national instead of a British citizen. 


Obviously like what he did is soo not cool, so wrong so so wrong, people should focus on the incident and not his nationality, his so dumb that he only injured himself and on top of that it failed....wasteman

Ahh lovely blogsville, hope you had a lovely Christmas, i know i did. This year i didnt give any presents nor recieve any and to be honest it felt good, i was thinking earlier today, imagine if you had a massive birthday party and people you invited came even pple you didnt invite also came, and then the whole focus shifts from you and is now on other people that you invited, instead of briniging gifts for you they bring for each other and nobody actually acknowledges you.... sad aye?? thats how the Saviour feels when we forget he is the reason for the season and when we get carried away with turkys and presents and the whole shebang :(

Anyways so theres a puppy in my house, which im really trying to get used to lol, my parents (typical Nigerians) want it out of the house, like they dont understand what a Nigerian boy is doing with a puppy lol, its cute doe....

So im back now, finally got that weave of my head, but now i have to watch what i eat coz the fringe has gone- damn it lol!!

Especially in this day and age when young girls are looking for role models, Kim Kardashian makes it very clear that you need no talent, no message, no pride to make a career out of nothing…

Kim is a very pretty girl but she has this little girl sense of humor and I am sure that she thought this is so cute…but its retarded. this is a bit much………no matter how hard one tries…………..salad will never be sexy, Who the hell eats a salad in the bath tub??? Gross advert and honestly it wouldnt appeal to me either. No one wants to see food spilling out of someone's mouth GROSS!
