Precious the Movie

So last night i finally watched Precious the movie (fully), all my excitemnt and anticipation since November has finally come to an end.... umm i think i expected  more from the movie, it wasnt all that, i think i raised the bar for it too high and I was a bit dissapointed, it did baffle me at times but I think dat was the aim of the producer/director because it was stylishly confusing, but damn Gabby really really tried, she defnetly deserves an Oscar for best newcomer or somehing, I know something silly myt happen like the award going to Monique especially since shes won the BAFTA awards already, the REAL Actress is Gabby and she should be given these accolades instead ……..

This song has to be by far her best single, it is Hott!! not to sure of the video, but the song nah 10 out of 10, i love it, usually subliminal messages piss me off like we all know shes talking about 'SEX' but i really love this song, i dunno if its the techno beat or what it is, she did well coz in my eyes she was getting rubbish but shes done herself justice,Regardless of the negative context - this video (on youtube) has over 4.5 million hits in less than two weeks. really catchy summer jam

HELLLO HELLO HELLO IM BACKK (i really need to stop saying im back lool) but wow it has been a really hectic 2 weeks omygosh its finally over all my party preps :( now there's nothing to look forward to now,mmmm.

Hey everybody...wow what a weekend it was pretty eventful

Friday was a good day ( my birthday) went out to dinner with my girls
Saturday went shopping with 'The Mister' ......
Sunday Valentines day, i liked this year cause it was spent with people I love , we all went out for dinner it was super fun... I don't think Valentines day is or has to be restricted to lovers only, you can share 'Love' with anybody xxx

RIP Alexander McQueen

The iconic British Fashion designer Alexander McQueen has committed suicide.
Oh, what a waste, a genuine talent, the fashion world has lost an inspiring man.. I hope he finds the peace he sought.  My wishes go to his family and friends. RIP Mr MQueen. For those that dont know him he was one of the fashion world’s biggest designers, belonging to the same circles as top models Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss.

Alicia n Beyonce in African Wax Print A.K.A Ankara

Beyonce and Alicia Keys collaborated in Rio De Janiero, Brazil to shot their new video "Put In The Love Song". They are filmed near the Christ the Redemeer Statue and in a nearby favela.

First and foremost I think the song is freaking elementary, I expected much mored from the both of them put together..c’mon now A.Keys and Bey on one song and this is the best you could come up with??? My personal opinion but I do have high hopes for the video…it looks good

Anyways that aside Both ladies look fab. Love both Bey and Alicia.

Ooo whats that I se them wearing?? that’s straight up West African material (Ankara is what we call it) make it into jumpsuit, dresses, anything…! You can get  those for like 5-20 pounds for 6 yards and you can get someone to make these same pieces for way cheaper! I thought Solange Knowles ( Beyonces sis) was the stylist for the video since she loves these African wears.

Sorry to burst your excited bubbles but I doubt Bey and A.Keys  ordered their materials from Lagos or Accra lol its the “carnival” style ensembles with obvious african print look to be from  Boxing kitten.com ( http://www.boxingkitten.com/ )

Interesting that they’ve used West African fabric and added a twist with the cut, but then again historically there is a strong African (Nigerian) presence in Brazil and influence on culture so it’s not too far a stretch. I guess it kinda makes sense that they wear these attires since Africa's history is kind of entwined with Brazil.

Can just see that look getting swagger jacked come summer.

Valentines day palaver......

Millions of people across the country will be buying flowers, chocolates and champagne in time for Valentine's Day this week.

Restaurants will be full as couples  get romantic over candlelight while the unhappily single people mutter bitterly over a TV dinner. What's it all for?
Is it a meaningless avenue to sell greetings cards or a much-needed reminder to focus on the people who matter to us most?

Alot of statuses on FB (especially from girls) are really bitter, do they genuinely feel this way towards Valentines Day or are they just depressed and upset because they have noone to share the day with lol?????

So ive heard  the name 'Nikki Minaj' flying from north east south and west....and i really wanted to know what the deal was about this chic, a lot of people want to know what all the hype is about Nikki Minaj including myself  .... so i googled her and the first thing that came to my mind was 'pornstar' with the description 'quickly advancing newcomer, Young Money signee Nicki Minaj' next to it I then youtubed her .....She doesn’t have an album out yet and only is featured on some tracks, yet she’s in high demand.

everytime i see something about her, she’s doing a song with a different artist, she is very dollyish Barbie likeish,   just playing dress up and riding the 15 mins of fame train.

Is this supposed to be a 2010 version of Lil’ Kim....Nikki Minaj is not a rapper i know nothing whatsoever about rap lol but i really don't like her flows ( if that's what its called???, but you get what i mean) 

Apparently Nikki is on everybody tracks because Lil Wayne is paying labels to do it. It’s called promotion. But my question is what is all the hype about her?? why is she on everyone's lips, am i missing something here?? because i don't think she is that good to be honest.... please help me out here  She’s average, her appearance is sub zero...her silly facial expressions when rapping is a cause for concern lol   if you support her either you still wearing coloured weave, big  plastic gold earrings,  or simply your ghetto as hell.

Madonna and Jesus Luz have gone their separate ways. Hallelujah!

So I was reading the newspaper this morning  and i found out that Madonna and Jesus Luz split up loooool
I don't know why anyone is surprised, their relationship was just a major joke 28 flippin years difference in age, allow that, In just 9 years Madonna would be getting her pension and free bus pass!  Now if that's not a wakeup call I don't know what is...I still can't believe her vanity, thinking that the age gap didn't matter! It's like child abuse the gap is so big!

apparently the the 23-year-old Brazilian model ended the relationship with the 51-year-old star because of the 28-year age difference and their busy work schedules and Jesus was the one who initiated the split. phahaha
I know im all about ' age is only a number' but wow this is stupidity mate, why would you go out with someone, sleep with some or even kiss someone you can give birth to.... major cringe i feel sick as i type.....How it even lasted a year seems like a miracle to a lot of people. They are in such different places in their lives.

Even Celebrities get it wrong SMH what is goin on with Kellys lace wig, what the hell???When are these disasterous lacefronts going to correct?? Everywhere I go must I see someone  looking like a sumo wrestler by the hairline, eurgh...puts me off the more......I women are meant to wear wigs and weaves that look natural on them. I thought that would be the point, especially since you have all that money. And why does the lace have to be like in the middle of her forehead. We all know her hairline doesn’t start there.


I love you kelly, you never get it wrong but c'mon...didnt you check the mirror before you left your house, and yes it is that bad im not exagerating, it looks FAKE!!!


on the plus side i think Kelly was wearing one of the prettiest dresses of the night but her hair wasn’t as good. Still love her she’s still stunning
